Lifting Lives, Transforming Futures: Ms Rasyidah, APSN Chaoyang School

For over two decades, Ms Rasyidah has been a familiar and guiding presence at APSN Chaoyang School (CYS). What began as a teaching role has evolved into a lifelong mission — to empower every child to discover their strengths and shine in their own unique way.

Throughout her years at CYS, Ms Rasyidah has led countless initiatives that have transformed classrooms into spaces of creativity and confidence. Her leadership in driving curriculum innovation not only enhanced the learning experience for students with special needs, but also earned the school an Innovative Award — a testament to her vision and commitment to excellence.

Beyond the classroom, Ms Rasyidah’s dedication extends to the global stage. As the Head of Delegation for Team Singapore at the Special Olympics World Winter Games, she represented the nation with pride, championing inclusivity and celebrating the abilities of every athlete.

For Ms Rasyidah, every milestone — big or small — is a reflection of her belief that education is not just about teaching, but about touching lives. Her journey continues to inspire colleagues, students, and families alike, reminding all that empowerment begins with empathy, patience, and purpose.
