APSN announces leadership changes within the boards of (1) Association for Persons with Special Needs (“APSN”) Society and (2) APSN Ltd., with effect from 25 September 2021
Mrs Ruby Cheah is the newly elected President of the APSN Society and will oversee its dissolution in the coming months. The Society’s former Vice-President takes over the helm from Mr Tan Cheen Chong, who had served as the President for a maximum term of four years. APSN thanks Mr Tan for his many years of service and valuable contributions, and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
APSN Ltd. has also announced new leadership at the helm of the Board. Former Vice-Chairman Mr Royce Seah has been appointed to assume chairmanship of APSN Ltd.. APSN Ltd. provides holistic education, vocational training and employment assistance, as well as continuing support to all APSN beneficiaries outside of the Special Education (“SPED”) Schools, and oversees the operations of APSN Centre for Adults and APSN Student Care Centre.
Mrs Cheah will continue to serve as the Chairman of APSN Education Services Ltd. which manages the four APSN SPED Schools – i.e. Chaoyang School, Katong School, Tanglin School and Delta Senior School.
