Wondering how your donations could help? Hear from Sean & Megan!

Sean Lium, a 28-year-old APSN alumni, graduated from APSN Delta Senior School seven years ago and has worked as a dedicated Security Officer for the past five years. His resilience, nurtured during his time at APSN, has been key to his success. Sean values staying calm under pressure, being patient, and observing details, such as the behavior of delivery personnel, to identify potential issues. These traits, rooted in the core values of APSN, helped him develop strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others, especially in customer-facing roles.

Before becoming a Security Officer, Sean gained experience in retail operations at APSN Delta Senior School, where he learned critical customer service skills and professionalism. His attention to detail and sharp grooming have earned him respect in his role. Despite his proactive approach to challenges, Sean is not afraid to ask for guidance when needed, showcasing his openness to growth and improvement.

Sean deeply appreciates the opportunities APSN provided, helping him build lasting relationships and develop a solid foundation in communication and customer service. These lessons continue to shape his professional success today.

Megan Tang Su-Ann, a 19-year-old student at APSN Delta Senior School, is pursuing the hospitality and accommodations track. While APSN focuses on academics, we also prioritize nurturing creativity in the Arts, where Megan has truly excelled. Her love for dance started with TV show routines and blossomed through early intervention programs, which helped improve her gross motor skills and boost her confidence on stage.

Megan’s dance journey grew stronger at APSN Chaoyang School’s Dance CCA and continued at APSN Tanglin School, where she joined the Latin dance team, LaTeens. Her hard work and dedication have now led to her selection for the Special Olympics this March, where she will proudly represent Singapore.

Megan’s remarkable talent has earned her numerous accolades, including being the youngest recipient of the Goh Chok Tong Enable Award (Promise) in 2020. She was also featured in the 2023 National Day Parade. Megan’s performances have touched both local and international audiences, including a solo dance at the World Down Syndrome Congress in Brisbane in 2024. Now, she’s preparing to represent Singapore in Dance Sport at the Special Olympics in Turin, Italy. Megan’s inspiring journey reflects her resilience, passion, and the steadfast support of the APSN community.
