On Friday, 8 July, the APSN Centre for Adults unveiled Singapore’s first vertical farm dedicated to training individuals with mild intellectual disabilities. The farm provides beneficiaries with hands-on learning experiences, from germinating and harvesting crops to mastering transplanting, maintenance, and soil care. This innovative space not only equips them with practical skills but also fosters confidence, independence, and a sense of achievement.
