Information Technology (IT) Programme
The IT programme for Grade 5, 6 and all Secondary Level students allow explicit learning of the essential technology skills needed in many vocational placements. The lessons are embedded into curriculum time and contain themes that run parallel with that of the other core subjects. This thematic tie-in is guided by the ELCC (Essential Life Centred Competencies) focus which allows students to appreciate their newly acquired IT competencies in a practical and holistic fashion.
LEAD E-Learning Portal
Katong School leverages on the LEAD portal as a means to encourage independent learning. Through interactive and engaging activities, students are motivated to extend their learning beyond the classroom walls. Additionally, this internet portal allows our students to access their lessons and assignments uploaded by their teachers from any computer equipped with an internet connection.
