Regarding the Event
What is a virtual run?
A virtual run is an event that allows participants to complete runs at their own time, and own pace.
How long is the event duration?
The event is held from 1 Feb 0000hours to 15 Mar 2359hours, GMT+8. Participants will be required to complete their run and submit their results to qualify for the lucky draw prizes.
Can I use other forms of transportation to complete my run?
The run can only be completed on foot. For participants with mobility issues, wheelchairs can be used.
How do I track my distance and run?
Results will be tallied based on an honour system. Participants are required to screenshot the results of their run attempt, and submit the result to a submissions page. We recommend the following apps to track your distance, time taken and date of your run:

Who can participate?
We welcome every one of all ages to be a part of this event! Singaporeans, PRs and foreigners in Singapore are eligible for the run. Children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Regarding Sign Ups
How do I sign up?
Participate in 3 steps:
1. Register for an account here. Give $30 on APSN Charity Virtual Run 2018 Campaign.
*Kindly do not check the “anonymous donation” box as APSN will send you a confirmation email within 3 working days to the address provided
2. Use any running software/app, which can capture the following information of your run: Time taken, distance covered, date of the run. Screenshot the activity when completed.
3. Submit your best attempt before 15 Mar, 2359hours
What other payment methods are available, aside from payment via Give.Asia?
Participants can submit the registration fee via cash by making payment at APSN Centre for Adults located at 11 Jalan Ubi, Block 4 #01-31.
Or send a cheque, crossed and made payable to ‘APSN’ at the following address:

Participants will need to submit the following information as well for official registration:
- Name as per NRIC/FIN
- NRIC/FIN number
- Contact Number
- Contact E-mail
Are group discounts offered?
No group discounts are available for this run.
How much of each participation fee goes towards APSN?
100% of proceeds will go towards developing training and programs for persons with special needs, to improve the lives of APSN beneficiaries. One area of funding would be APSN Bakery Enterprise which is undergoing HACCP certification, and in the process of securing machinery to improve our services.
Can I make an additional donation?
Yes! There are options within Give.Asia that allows the public to make a donation to APSN in addition to the participation fee.
Do I qualify for a tax deduction for participation fee payment?
The fee paid for event participation is not eligible for tax deductions.
If I am taking part in Corporate Challenge segment for APSN Charity Virtual Run 2018, can I take part in this event?
Yes! You will have to simply pay a registration fee of $30.00 and submit your result via our submission link.
Can I submit a screenshot of my run taken before the event period?
Only screenshots taken during the event period will be accepted.
Where do I submit my results?
A result submission link will be e-mailed to participants within 3 working days of signing up. Only participants who have submitted their results within the event period stand a chance to win the lucky draw prizes.
What information is required in the screenshot submitted?
The date, distance and duration is required on the screenshot. Please refer to the example below of the information needed (in red) to confirm your results:
When will winners of the lucky draw prizes be notified?
Winners will be notified on 23rd March 2018 via phone and email.
What if I have submitted my results more than once by accident?
Kindly contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will assist you to identify the correct submission.
How do I know if my submission has been received?
You will be notified by e-mail within 3 business days of your submission.
If I have logged my distances during the APSN Corporate Challenge with my company, can I submit it as my result for this event?
Yes! As the corporate challenge takes place from 5 Feb 2018 to 11 Feb 2018, all results logged during this period is valid for submission.
